Our Mission
At The Role Model Foundation, we strive to advance the well-being of foster youth by providing a stable, trauma-informed environment that improves mental health and supports positive, permanent outcomes. We are dedicated to preventing further disruption in their lives and preparing them for a successful transition into adulthood.
Who We Serve
The Role Model Foundation serves foster youth ages 12 to 17 who require therapeutic residential care.
Our program is specifically designed for youth who:
• Are currently placed in foster care.
• Experience significant emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs.
• Require a structured, trauma-informed living environment to heal and thrive.

Our Program
A Comprehensive STRTP Program
The Role Model Foundation will operate a licensed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) facility in California, providing year-round residential housing and a holistic set of services designed to meet the therapeutic and developmental needs of each youth.
Our services include:
1. Therapeutic & Mental Health Services
• 24/7 Therapeutic Care: We provide constant, therapeutic residential care for youth experiencing trauma and instability.
• Clinical Support: Our services are coordinated by licensed clinical staff and include:
• Individual and group therapy
• Behavioral health interventions
• Case management
2. Life Skills & Educational Support
• Life-Skills Development: We conduct workshops to prepare youth for adulthood, focusing on financial literacy, job readiness, emotional regulation, and social skills.
• Educational Support: We ensure youth maintain academic progress through tutoring, homework help, and close coordination with local school districts.
3. Permanency & Family Reunification
• In partnership with county child welfare agencies, we work toward positive permanency outcomes, including family reunification (when appropriate) and transitioning youth to less restrictive settings.
